Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis is desperate to make an impression at Bundesliga club FC Cologne, reports Completesports.com.
Dennis linked up with Cologne from Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge on a six-month loan deal in January.
“I am not satisfied with my performance. I can definitely do more than I have shown so far,” Dennis told Het Nieuwsblad
“I have to be patient, stay positive and keep working hard.
“Sometimes things don’t go the way you want in football. That is also the case in life. But I remain positive. ”

The versatile forward does not think Cologne are a step backwards in his development.
” I don’t believe in stepping back in football. It is important that you find and play joy,”he added.
“Of course I still follow Club in the Europa League. It is great what they do, but I am now with another club and I can be happy here too. The Bundesliga is an exciting competition.
“In Belgium, a lot of matches were boring. Club Brugge are top notch, but the other teams have fully adapted to that.
“This is not the case in Germany. Every team always goes full throttle, even when they play against Bayern or Dortmund. That impressed me. Here is always positive football.”
