Arsenal look set to have both Aaron Ramsey and Nacho Monreal available for Monday’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United.
The Gunners duo were doubts for the match at Emirates Stadium because of recent injury troubles with Ramsey forced to return to London Colney from Wales during the international break because of a thigh injury.
But the Juventus-bound star has trained and is in contention to take his place in a midfield that will be without suspended Lucas Torreira.

Monreal, who missed the club’s warm weather training camp in Dubai as a precaution, is back in full training after a calf problem with Arsenal confirming the double boost in an injury update released on Friday morning.
But there was no mention of Granit Xhaka, who was substituted during Switzerland’s game with Denmark on Wednesday night after complaining of a thigh injury.
Xhaka stated in a social media post on Thursday that he was set to begin treatment later that evening to try and return to action as quickly as possible.
