Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says the Gunners have a point to prove against Liverpool in Thursday’s Premier League clash.
The Reds come into the heavyweight clash on a longer unbeaten run than the Gunners, but victory will take Mikel Arteta’s men a whopping 17 points clear of the holders with 17 games remaining.
Speaking with the club’s website, Arteta stated that Arsenal’s priority is to have an excellent game and win every game.

“Excited. It’s a massive game against the champions of the last Premier League. We have a point to prove. We’re going to have our crowd creating an amazing atmosphere.
“We are top of the table, we play at home against a really good opponent. We want to maintain our position. To do that we’re going to have to be excellent throughout the game. That’s the point we have to prove.
“We want to win every game. The most important one is tomorrow’s. We know what we have to do to beat them. Now we have to prove it on the pitch.”
