Kun Khalifat head coach Obinna Uzoho remains unfazed by his team’s difficult start to the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Completesports.com reports.
The Owerri-based club are still searching for their first victory after three matches, having picked up just two points so far.
Kun Khalifat suffered their first defeat of the campaign on Sunday, going down 4-2 to Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
Uzoho Stays Positive
Despite the disappointing result, Uzoho has urged his players to remain focused, insisting there is still plenty of time to turn things around.

“I’m going back home to make sure we put everything right. You know, this season has just started,” Uzoho was quoted as saying by the NPFL’s official website.
“I want to do more this season because last season was tough for me.”
Kun Khalifat currently occupy 14th position on the NPFL table with two points from three games.
They will have an opportunity to claim their first win of the season when they host fellow Oriental side Rangers in a derby clash at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, on Sunday.
