Former Nigerian forward, Jonathan Akpoborie has urged Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr to be meticulous in the selection of strikers for the team ahead of next month’s clash against Cameroon in an international friendly game, Completesports report.
Recall that on Friday, the German tactician released a provisional list of 31 players that will prosecute the game against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Austria on June 4.
Notable on the strikers’ lists are Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Sadiq Umar, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simo, Henry Onyekuru, Peter Olayinka, Terem Moffi, Paul Onuachu, and Simy Nwankwo.
Some of the strikers have been painting Europe with goals and Akpoborie in a chat with Completesports.com stated that Rohr should use the Cameroon game to give a few of the strikers the chance to prove their worth.

“I am really impressed with the list of players in the striking position. These are players that have been painting Europe with goals and I know Rohr has a big task of selecting the right players for the game.
“He must be meticulous in his selection with players such as Terem Moffi, Sadiq Umar, Peter Olayinka, and Simy Nwankwo waiting for their big chance. Yes, Simy has nothing to prove considering the fact that he was at the 2018 World Cup but his current form should also be considered by Rohr.”

Eagles team list are 3 national team of nations already. To help rohr he should divide them to 2 teams . Team A comprises of okoye ekong zabu ndidi etebo aribo musa ihaenacho Simon onachu iwobi chwueze osimen and noble Team B uzoho ajayi omeeruah awaziem ebueshi olayinka sheHu kelvin iwela Marcus oyekuru moffi umar simmy Jamiu ezenwa . Let them face one another and the Coach lookin only by 3 days some guys will decamp themselves.

I think what the right thing Super Eagles need is defensive midfielders and the pattern of playing they can play; the pattern of play are pressing ,sliding, fierce and ferociousness and also proper recovery on the rival’s key players in order to spoil thier attackts from the midfield or wing lines;SE need like Lesley Ugochukwu, Azubuike Okechukwu,Joel Obi,Nwobodo as they alternative of Ndidi ;because they play the pattern of style which I have already reminded.So Oga Rhor must not recall strikers ,but must recall a defensive midfielders ;also must recall center backs like Godfry Oboabona who has long and high experience with SE.SE need this style of play and quality of players to excuste this style or pattern of play; SE have lacked this style since 1994 when they won Afco Cup in Tunisia or Olympic medal in Atalanta;USA in 1996;if Oga Rhor obligate and apply this style or pattern of play he can lift ir win Afco Cup in Cameroon next year…
