Chelsea forward Joao Felix says he will love to make a return to his boyhood club Benfica.
The 25-year-old Portuguese forward permanently signed for Chelsea last summer after a previous loan spell but has struggled to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge.
Following a loan move to AC Milan for the second half of the 2024/25 season, Felix is now back at Chelsea but was notably left out of the squad for the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

Felix in a chat with TribalFootball, stated that he would love to return to Benfica.
“The whole world knows that Benfica is my favourite team. It’s my home. One day I will return.
“I don’t know if it’s now or in a few years, but if it were now I would be very happy. There are two options: either I stay in England or I return to Benfica.”
His wage demands and potential transfer fee could prove to be a hinderance, however, and he will likely have to take a pay cut.
