France has named their squad for the upcoming international friendly against the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
30 players were included in the squad announced by the French Football Federation (LFF).
Four goalkeepers, 10 defenders, eight midfielders, and eight strikers make up the squad.
Key stars like Wendie Renard,
Kadidiatou Diani, and Eugénie Le Sommer wee included in the squad.

Like Eguavoen, Madugu, please work with the players that you recently worked with (mostly home based) because you can’t waste the past international window to suddenly invite several foreign pros to play this “experienced” opposition.
Our local players are solid and playing Algeria with them was 15 steps too low. I don’t want an excuse that France “paid” huge dollars to see our “old” team.
Never. NFF must not waste dollars on flight tickets for players that will come from different parts of the world when we can take 20 at once from home.
Madugu has no time to work with players he’s not trained with first hand in 2024. Last year seems a distant memory.
Algeria double header lineup MUST PLAY FRANCE

It will be cowardly to turn to our foreign pros who didn’t play in the last window WHILE OTHER NATIONS PLAYED WITH THEIR FIRST TEAMS.

We want to see the so-called “attacking tactics” Madugu’s lapdogs have so much bragged about here.
We want to see him put 4 to 5 goals past France the same way he has been putting them past the likes of CapeVerde and Ethiopia…..LMAOooo.
Some of us have been branded haters of Madugu and local coaches simply because we have refused to use matches against teams that struggle to qualify for WAFCON as benchmarks to rate Madugu.
So we want to see him attack France with reckless abandon the way he would attack Algeria and Ethiopia. If he can do that and go as par as putting at least 3 goals past France and come out without a defeat, I will sell all my body parts to support him for consideration as the permanent handler of the Super Falcons henceforth.
Its been over 2 weeks the friendly against France was announced and the silence from Madugu’s lapdogs is deafening.

Its not more than 3 weeks ago we had a camp and played 2 warm up games.
Afterall, defeating Algeria was supposed to be a confirmation of how good enough the homebased player are.
@Sly, in terms of logistics its cheaper having players from Europe to play the match as flights are cheaper within EU countries than having players from Nigeria. Flights to France return from EU is not more than £250 and will be than that from Nigeria.
Magudu was one of Waldrum back room staffs and during the WC in Australia, he was the match reader/analyst. Now its time to show if he was an onlooker or not as this friendly match with France will be a true test.
Clowns think they have better ideas than the coach because he is a local coach. Inferiority at the highest level, ride on egungu and your negative agenda to smear confusion on a team that will eventually come good and become world achievers. Whatever the plan of the coach is be it mix of home and foreign base or only either one is not anyones decision. What matters is the coach should deliver a team that will put smiles on our face by winning or by draw or by loosing gallantly. @Chima, I do like your optimism, however there are times we face reality, as I have written earlier, if Madugu did not go with the best players, he will be humiliated, its straight and simple and I am sure Mr. Madugu knows this unless he doesn’t want the job permanently. We all know the best are the foreign pros, we all saw how Edo queens performed at the CAFWCL and SF against the Algerian team (even though they won the two matches). France is different and they are going through a phase now with a new coach and they will want to make a statement playing SF.
Hopefully SF will do there best, but I don’t see them winning, a draw at best.
