Desert Foxes of Algeria head coach Djamel Belmadi has named 24 players for his side’s upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Mexico, reports Completesports.com.
Regulars Riyad Mahrez, Yaccine Brahimi, Rais M’Bolhi, Sofiane Feghouli, Aissa Mandi and Ismael Bennacer were called-up by Belmadi.
Brentford of England winger Said Benrahma, Adlène Guedioura , Andy Delort and Baghad Bounedjah were also named in the squad.
Belmadi also included three new players; Reda Halaimia, Mehdi Zerkane, Jalil Medioub in his squad for both games.
The North Africans will face the Super Eagles in Austria on Friday, October 9th before coming up against Mexico four days later in the Netherlands.

On paper even with all injuries and Pullout of some of our key players in our team (very important players might I add) Ndidi, Aribo and Osimhen, I mean almost the spine of our team if I am to be honest even still we are still stronger on paper than Algeria. Maybe Rohr will give Lookman the Nod and drops either Moses Simon or Ahm3d Musa I am hoping. But I bet he doesn’t even follow the English league this Gernot Rohr.
This is the chance to give Lookman the Nod. 2 more good games and Gareth Southgate will be alerted to the Boy by the English media and that will be very unfortunate.

Don’t mind ugo iwunze he’s always looking for an opportunity to criticise Rohr. If he is current he would have read when lookman indicated his interest to play for Nigeria only waiting for FIFA clearance. Pls don’t allow Rohr matter to cost you Hbp.
