Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has praised Ademola Lookman for his development at the club.
Lookman has developed into one of the biggest stars in the world since his arrival at the Gewiss Stadium.
The 27-year-old has claimed the club’s Player of the Season prize for the last two campaigns.

The winger finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’or.
The Nigeria international is also widely touted to win the 2024 African Player of the Year award.
“He (Lookman) has had a fantastic evolution. Lookman already did well alongside Rasmus Hojlund, then had Gianluca Scamacca and De Ketelaere as partners before Retegui. At this moment, he is among the top players in Europe and that means on the world stage too,” Gasperini told a press conference ahead of La Dea’s UEFA Champions League clash with Stuttgart.
“He is still in the running to win the African Player of the Year Award, but the most important thing is his evolution and consistency.”
