Chelsea bound striker Emanuel Emegha has tendered his apology to Strasbourg after he was suspended for some controversial comments.
Emegha was issued a one-match suspension by the club for claiming that the team lost against AS Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain or Marseille earlier this year because “he was not playing” in these matches.
He also told a Dutch newspaper that he thought Strasbourg was in Germany prior to his arrival from Sturm Graz in the summer 2023.

However, in response to the development on his Instagram, Emegha stated that he has made a mistake and will learn from it.
“I’m 22, I’ve made mistakes and I know that I have much to learn.
“And I must learn from this. I know that I must do better, and I will, on and off the pitch to represent the club.
“He (Marc Keller) knows how much I love this club and how much I work every day. I also extend my thanks to my teammates, the staff, head coach Liam Rosenior and Sporting Director David Weir and everyone associated with the team. On Saturday, I will 200% back the team like a supporter.”
