Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Ikorodu City have celebrated their two players Michael Atata and Aderemi Adeoye, on their Super Eagles call-ups.
On Thursday, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle unveiled his squads for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar (September 25) and Guinea-Bissau (September 29) and the international friendly with Russia.
Atata and Adeoye made the cut in the 24-man list for the friendly encounter with Russia which will come up on October 6.
While Atata is one of the three goalkeepers (Stanley Nwabali, Samuel James), Adeoye is part of the eight midfielders (Wilfred Ndidi, Chibuzor Nwoko, Raphael Onyedika, Fumen Michael, Georges Wilfred, Popoola Abdulrazaq, Suleiman Mubarak) listed.

For the two AFCON qualifiers, Chelle called up goalkeepers Arthur Okonkwo, Maduka Okoye and Nwabali.
The defensive options include Bruno Onyemaechi, Calvin Bassey, Olaoluwa Aina and Bright Osayi-Samuel, while the midfield features Alex Iwobi, Ndidi, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika.
And for the forwards Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon and Tolu Arokodare were listed by Chelle.
