We know what you capable of iwobi, but try give us same energy and display while on NT duties is all we ask for.
Bro, let the Nigerian coach check out why Iwobi is largely unproductive under him. Peseiro did the same thing to this guy, making him look ridiculous and totally out of sort at the AFCON
Thumbs up.
Play iwobi in the right position with a good coach you will get the best of him
He is a talented Attacking midfielder. Its mind boggling why the SE handlers keep playing him in deep defensive midfield
No surprise here. Top player.
Been saying this like forever that Nigerian players are top notch, the issue with the Super Eagles has always been coaching and management.
The much maligned Iwobi, Ndidi et al. still have a lot to offer and are very vital to the Eagles.
I pray we get a quality coach that understands our players and how to use then efficiently.
We have intelligent and hardworking players . Victor osimhen, moses simon , Alex iwobi, ndidi , ademola lookman, chukwueze and others are making impact in their clubs.
Our problem lies with incompetent coaches and corrupt sport administrators we have in Nigeria.
When we played Rwanda at Kigali, the match was literally between our strikers and thier goal keeper . the coach did not have the extra depth to kill off the game despite the
fact that we were better than the Rwandan national team in that game. The Libyan national team subsequently defeated the Rwandan national team in the same stadium.
If we are to qualify for the world cup we need a foriegn coach that will provide the team with depth and that killer instinct to go extra mile in winning away matches.
The cameroun national team in the eighties and nineties, Nigerian team in 1994, the Nigeria Olympic football team that won the gold medal had such killer instinct.
With a good coach victor osimhen and lookman plus simon can destroy the Rwandan and benin national teams.
A good coach will also give other enterprising Nigerian footballers opportunity to play in the national team. Players such as akpom, desser, Nathaniel tella etc ought to be part of super eagles set up.
Gasua has not shown Nigerians that he is a good administrator. How long will nff continue to deceive Nigerians in respect of the issue of employment of a foreign coach.
If Nigeria fails to qualify for world cup i don’t think gusau will survive as nff president.
He will survive just like his predecessors!Nigerians makes a lot of empty toothless threats..
Thanks to Fulham coach for not forgetting Iwobi at the heart of the midfield without moving forward like Eguavoen and Paseiro.
This was the Iwobi we knew during Rohr Era where Indid and Etebo/Aribo played behind him.
Now we have Indidi, Onyeka, Onyedika even Aribo is now picking up but our coach till date prefer other players in that offensive midfield role.
May be we should allow Eguavoen to rest and try another person. He has overstayed both as an adviser and as a coach.
