Man United legend Roy Keane was quick to criticize Altay Bayindir for his part in Riccardo Calafiori’s goal during the Red Devil’s Premier League defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.
Calafiori nodded in from close range in the 13th minute on Sunday after Bayındır flapped at the ball from a corner whipped in by Declan Rice.
Reacting after the game, Keane, in a chat with Sky Sports, faulted the Turkish international’s failure to take control of his six-yard box.

“Credit to Arsenal – they vary the delivery; they’re attacking it. But if you’re the goalkeeper, take control of the six-yard box,” Keane told Sky Sports.
“Keepers and defenders complain all the time about people getting in their face. You get in their face. Be aggressive. I’ve said it many times for a goalkeeper – come with violence. Take control of it. Far too easy. It’s like schoolboy stuff. Man Utd – weak and soft.”
