Dominik Szoboszlai has admitted that his future at Liverpool is no longer in his hands after confirming there has been no progress in contract extension talks with the club.
The Hungary international, whose existing deal runs until 2028, has been one of the Reds’ standout performers this season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists across all competitions.

Speaking with the club’s website, Szoboszlai stated that there has been no progress surrounding his contract negotiations with Liverpool, but insisted he is relaxed about the situation.
“Nothing yet, to be honest. Nothing, from now on … it is not in my hands. It works this way. There is no progression but if the right offer comes then let’s see,” he said.
“Let’s see what happens, hopefully everyone will be happy at the end. Of course (I want to stay). I like the city, I like the club, I like playing with these guys, I love Anfield, I love the fans, let’s see what the future holds. It is not on me. I would love to (stay). We will see.”
