The Red Devils are seeking to make it four wins out of four under interim head coach Michael Carrick.
Teams’ Form And Recent Performances
Man United
There seems to have been a total rejuvenation for United under interim boss Carrick as they have won all the three matches he has been in charge of since his appointment.
The former England international succeeded Ruben Amorim last month and has been impressive with some victories which have taken United to the top four.
The Red Devils defeated Manchester City 2-0 in Carrick’s first game in charge. They followed that with a stunning 3-2 victory over Premier League leaders, Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium – their first win on the ground in over eight years – before seeing off Fulham at Old Trafford by the same scoreline.
The 20-time English top-flight champions will be looking to win four games in a row for the first time in two years when they host Spurs in a Saturday lunchtime kickoff.
Tottenham
Tottenham have had a disappointing 2025/26 season where they are currently languishing in the 14th position following a six game winless streak in the league.
Although, Spurs remarkably came from a-two goal deficit to draw Man City last weekend courtesy of Dominic Solanke’s brace in the second half, they have been unimpressive for the majority of the season in domestic competitions.
Thomas Frank’s side are one of the three English teams yet to win a single league game since the turn of the year. They are joined alongside Crystal Palace and Burnley.
Head-To-Head Statistics
Man United and Tottenham have met 193 times across all competitions with the Red Devils coming out victorious on 93 occasions to Spurs’ 53 while 47 matches have ended in draws.
Tottenham have been the dominant side in recent years as they won five of their last eight meetings with United.
Interestingly, United lost each of their four games against Spurs last season including a 1-0 defeat in the UEFA Europa League final.
The last time the Red Devils defeated the Lilywhites was in the 2022-23 campaign. Fred and Bruno Fernandes gave Erik ten Hag’s side a well deserved 2-0 victory.
