Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has disclosed that he will do everything to protect Cole Palmer.
He made this known on the backdrop of his impressive display against Everton in Saturday’s Premier League, where he scored a goal.
Recall that the England international has started just four Premier League games this season due to groin and toe injuries, which forced him to miss more than two months of fixtures for the side.

However, speaking with the club’s website, Maresca stated that Palmer won’t be available to play two games in three days.
“I already said many times, Cole is one of the players that deserves to be protected.
“He is not available to play two games in three days.”
