Shakhtar Dontesk sporting director, Dario Srna, has revealed that Real Madrid veteran Luka Modric is one of the game’s greatest stars in his position.
Srna, who described Modric as a special player, stated that the Croatian midfielder is the best player of all time.
“Luka is something very, very special. Yes, I know, I’m Croatian , but he is truly a special player and an incredible person, on a personal and professional level, an example that everyone should follow.

“I believe that Luka is the best player of all time in his position.”
On the possibilities of Croatia at the Euros: “We always believe in Croatia. I believed that we could win the European Championship in Austria and Switzerland, and then in France.
“Croatia they are a very dangerous opponent, with great players. As a nation we are small in number, but strong as a group. This year we have won another world title in water polo in recent years and therefore the expectations are high.”
