The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the draw for the 2026 CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifications will take place in Rabat, Morocco, today.
The qualifiers will be played over two home-and-away knockout rounds, with seven teams qualifying for the CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations 2026 final tournament, joining the host nation, Morocco, at the continental showpiece.
A total of 17 countries, which consist of Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Libya, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, will be slugging it out for a place in the final tournament.

The finals will also determine Africa’s qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
Morocco has already hosted and won the last two editions of the men’s Futsal AFCON.
The national team lifted the trophy in Laayoune in 2020 after a 5–0 win over Egypt in the final, before successfully defending their title in Rabat in 2024 with a 5–1 victory against Angola.
