Former France international Claude Makelele says Jose Mourinho acted like a father and dictator when he was manager at Chelsea.
Recall that the Portuguese tactician signed Makelele in 2003 and together, they won Chelsea’s first Premier League titles.

Speaking to the BBC’s Football Daily podcast, Makelele spoke in glowing terms about the current Fenerbache boss.
He said, “He was like a father with a strong character, but also like a dictator. I think he needed to be like that because he had young talents at Chelsea who needed discipline.
“Mourinho realised that he could get a lot out of the group. He knew he would lead the team to success because he saw their character.”
