Ibrahim Gusau, Kabiru Amadu, Others Also To Grace Event
Veteran Nigerian sports journalist and Executive Management Team (EMT) member of Complete Communications Limited, publishers of Complete Sports, Dr Mumini Alao, will publicly present his autobiography on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Tayo Aderinokun Hall, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka-Yaba, Lagos, starting from 1:00 PM.
The high-profile ceremony promises to be a gathering of influential personalities from the Nigerian sports, media, and political landscapes, celebrating a remarkable career that has spanned decades in sports journalism and publishing.

Chairing the event will be Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), while the Guest Speaker is H.E. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, former Governor of Lagos State.

Also billed to attend as the Chief Guest of Honour is Senator John Owan Enoh, the Honourable Minister of State for Industry, alongside Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), and Honourable Kabiru Amadu, Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, who will serve as Special Guest and Co-Launcher.
The event will attract State FA Chairmen, top officials of the NSC and NFF, ex-internationals including former Super Eagles players, Nigerian Olympians, prominent journalists, captains of industry, and top federal and state government functionaries.

Dr Mumini Alao’s autobiography chronicles his journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of Nigeria’s most respected voices in sports journalism. As a long-serving editor and currently a key executive at Complete Communications Limited, Alao has played a pivotal role in shaping sports reporting and storytelling in Nigeria.
The book is expected to offer rare insights into the evolution of sports media in Nigeria, share personal reflections on covering major global sports events, and highlight defining moments in his illustrious career.
