If we are being honest with ourselves, Musa should not be included in the next Eagles squad.

…He is experienced and good but playing in an inferior league. Be it any other player outside of Europe major leagues he would have been long forgotten. But he is seen as a representative from upcountry and so you dare not axe him from the team. Amaju Pinnick knows this as well as Coach Rohr. But the national team should only be open to the best in very good league and teams. I believe, he should be allowed to face club football anytime from now. He has tried and can bow out now and concentrate on making money…

      • I concur. He’s, to be honest, filling up some quota slots – although not taking anything away from him. He’s an absolute match decider and record maker, but there are other non-footballing reasons going on for him as well.

All or most of his contemporaries have either retired or frozen out of the team. I reckon that as soon as Sanusi Zaidu and Umar Sadiq start getting invitations, then it may be the beginning of the end of Musa’s beautiful SE career.

Why are you guys seperating us with tribal and quoter sentiment. Who cares about quater or tribe when it comes to talent. Let me inform you guys that thesame akademie dat mikel obi, samuel kalu, moses simon, ahmed musa and many others where discovered by in the north by northerners. You guys should stop discrediting the northern part us. To be realistic non of our wingers is as skillfull or pacy as ahmed musa on a very good day. Who tell me who? Chukwueze is not there yet if thats the name in ur mind. Do u kno how many goals he has scored for us? Not to talk of asists. And why do you think its only european league that is competative in football. Egypt abuotraker didnt play in europe all is carea. Do you think hazard and dybron or mbape is better than abuotraker. If musa is having tough time in saudi arabia that means the league is tough there too.
