It’s happy time for tennis star Rafael Nadal after his wife Mery Perello gave birth to their second child Miquel.
The baby adds even more excitement to this new chapter in the tennis star’s life since he made the difficult decision to retire from professional tennis.
Their new baby is named Miquel, born on August 7th, and carries this name in honor of his grandfather, Xisca’s father, who passed away in 2023, according toEuropa Press news agency.

With Miquel’s arrival, the couple expands their family of three, which already included Rafael Junior, their firstborn, now 2 years and 10 months old.
Nadal left tennis behind at the back end of last year playing the Davis Cup for the final time after attempting a grand return which in reality didn’t produce the goods he wanted.
