The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has sent condolence message to Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali following the death of his mother.
On Wednesday, January 1, Nwabali announced the death of his mother on X.
“A very very crazy world indeed ,” he initially wrote.
He then added:”Rip mom, worst year of my life already .”
The sad news is coming just barely over a month when he also announced the death of his father.
His father died as he was preparing to feature for the Super Eagles in the AFCON 2025 qualifier with Rwanda in Uyo in mid-November.
Reacting to the death of Nwabali’s mother the NFF wrote: “Our heartfelt condolences to Stanley Nwabali on the loss of his mother. Stay strong, Stanley. sending you strength and support during this difficult time. You are not alone; we are all with you.”
