Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard has expressed optimism that Ethan Nwaneri will excel at Marseille.
Recall that Nwaneri joined the Ligue 1 giant on loan last week and began life on an impressive note, scoring a goal on his debut at the weekend against Lens.
Speaking with the club’s website, Odegaard stated that Nwaneri has the potential to be successful at Marseille.

“I went on loan a few times when I was a young player and so I spoke with Ethan before he left about it,” the playmaker revealed. “We spoke about what he was feeling about his situation and the opportunity, and I understand it – I’ve been there too. Obviously you always want to play more, so this will be a good move for him.
