Victor Osimhen has lashed out at his Napoli teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent Mamuka Jugeli labeling him a disgrace for suggesting the Nigerian will join a Saudi Arabia club next summer.
Osimhen recently signed a new contract until 2026 in December, with his salary reportedly more than doubling to £8.6m per season.
He rejected a £115m advance from Saudi side Al-Hilal in the summer.
However, in an interview with Georgian media 1Tv, as quoted byLa Gazzetta dello Sport, Jugeli suggested Osimhen is driven more by money.
“Victor Osimhen has signed a new contract, but do you really believe he’ll play for Napoli for his entire career?
“I’ll tell you in advance, he (Osimhen) will go to Saudi Arabia next summer. Napoli raised his salary but Kvicha wouldn’t accept such a transfer even for a billion.
“For example, Kvicha would prefer to play for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona or maybe Manchester City; Kvaratskhelia has different goals and preferences.
“He wants to be successful, and he is already having it. He is among the top three players in the world.”

Reacting to the comment blasted Jugeli, expressing disappointment in his sense of reasoning.
“Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a piece of filth and a disgrace. I’m embarrassed at your sense of reasoning. Dumbf***. Keep my name out of your mouth,” Osimhen wrote on his Instagram story.
Osimhen is currently with the Super Eagles preparing for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
This season, he has scored eight goals in 18 appearances with Napoli across all competitions.
Following his impressive performance for his club and national team, he was named 2023 CAF Player of the Year.
Also, he finished in eight position in the 2023 Ballon d’Or award.

While I agree with some of the sentiments expressed here that Victor should hire a professional PR person or firm, he was absolutely well within good sense to lamblast the crude dog-whistling quasi-racist comments of this so-called agent. GOOD ON HIM.
Well, i think osimhen was within his rights to lash out at that idiot of an agent. He’s indirectly telling us that 1, karve is way better than osimhen, 2, that he osimhen is driven by money, 3. That osimhen is over valued and does not deserve what he is currently earning. And again, there is this bad blood he wants to infuse in the minds of Napoli fans and fellow players especially now they (Napoli) are struggling and osimhen’s departure for the nations cup. They ain’t happy that a black man did what a white has never done in the history of Napoli since the exploits of maradona.
