Former Southampton star Jose Fonte has urged Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes to stay at Old Trafford and finish his career there.
In a chat with talkSPORT, Fonte believes the team is on a good trajectory under Michael Carrick, making it the right place for Fernandes to stay, despite potential interest from other clubs.
“Me, I would stay 100 per cent.

“I think the club looks like it’s on a good trajectory now under Michael Carrick.
“The club, as we all know, is a massive club.
“Bruno is becoming, or if not already, he’s a legend at Man United. I think he loves the city, loves the club.
“He’s thriving again. Why not stay until the rest of your career? Because it’s one of the best clubs in the world.”
