Real Madrid have been told they will need to splash close to £140m if they wish to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham this summer. The Denmark international is thought be edging closer to a potential exit from the north London outfit, with reports suggesting Los Blancos have already agreed terms with the playmaker.

Eriksen is seen as the ideal replacement to step in for Luka Modric, with the 33-year-old Croatian thought to be getting closer to his own exit from the Santiago Bernabeu as he does not feature in Zinedine Zidane’s plans going forward. However, Eriksen will not come cheap, and Spurs chief Daniel Levy is looking to land close to £140m for the sale of the Scandinavian, who has been a key figure in the club’s recent rise in the Premier League and Europe.
