Victor Osimhen scored once as Napoli defeated Lazio 5-2 in their Serie A clash at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Thursday night, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen started the game on the bench and took the place of Dries Mertens in the 72nd minute.
The 22-year-old netted Napoli’s fifth goal of the game 10 minutes from time.

The Nigeria international has now scored six goals in 17 league appearances for Napoli this season.
He has also now registered three goals in his last five league outings for the Blues.
The Partenopei remain in fifth position on the table with 63 points from 32 games.

Kelechi iheanacho also scored tonight as well. Two young Nigerian strikers doing the business for their clubs both playing to make it into the champions league. I really hope Osimhen scores more goals before the season ends to help reduce some of the pressure on him.
Osimhen with his 6th goal in serie a. He scored 13 goals in ligue 1 which ended prematurely. If he can get up to 10 goals or more I would think he have finally adapted to serie a. Lozano assisted Osimhen which was key, most of his goals comes from an assist. Every Nigeria forward is scoring goals now. If anybody WATCHED the game, you could hear the coach telling his players to pass to Osimhen, he kept on saying “Victor, Victor, Victor Go.”

5 super strikes from Napoli. Poor Pepe Reina is probably considering retirement after this bashing. Osimhen came in and impressed in the 20 mins he was given, throwing in a nice goal as well.
But for me, the highlight of the game was Broda Insigne throwing up crip signs after scoring his goals. I laugh in Mozambique. Insigne is now a crip? Make the bloods no jam you for street ooo…..:-) 🙂 🙂
