Werder Bremen Sporting Director Clemens Fritz has provided injury updates on Super Eagles defender Felix Agu ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash against Bayer Leverkusen.
Recall that the Nigerian international was spotted training partially with the team for the first time since his surgery, the club announced.
The versatile midfielder is a few weeks away from returning to full training, which could happen before the end of the month.

However, speaking with Deichstube, Fritz stated that the club will need to wait for a while before seeing Agu in full action.
“There’s nothing concrete regarding Olivier – moreover, his situation is similar to Julian’s. Isaac Schmidt is currently playing on the left and Felix Agu is also returning, but we have to wait and see how long he needs. Therefore, we’re waiting to see if and how we will act.”
