AC Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot has disclosed that Inter Milan would have been a runaway leader without the Rossoneri.
Recall that Rabiot scored one goal and laid on another as AC Milan eased to a commanding 3-0 Serie A victory over Bologna to keep the heat on its city rival Inter at the top of the table.
Reacting after the game, the France international told Sportmediaset that AC Milan are keeping the league open this season.
“Always with the same spirit. We’re keeping the league open because the other teams aren’t doing well, apart from Inter.

“If it weren’t for us, Inter would go out on their own! We’re doing great, now we need to take some time to rest. We need to demonstrate, as we’ve been doing since the beginning, our character and our solidity as a team.
“The fans are also giving us a hand.
“I have to play my role… I’m among the most experienced, I have to be qualitative and also try to raise everyone’s level with my character, staying focused and training hard every day.
“Players like me, (Mike) Maignan, and (Luka) Modric have experience, even the coach knows it’s a tough season. We haven’t done anything, we mustn’t lose focus.”
