Super Eagles head coach Finidi George claimed his side have no fear for the Squirrels of Benin Republic.
The Squirrels are currently managed by former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr.
The two teams will clash in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday four encounter at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Monday.

Rohr was in charge of the Super Eagles for six years before he was sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
“He should be the one to be fearful (of the Super Eagles),” Finidi told reporters.
“We want to win the game, we will take risk to win.
“We should repeat the second half performance against South Africa in Abidjan, that will give us a positive result that will change the narrative and that’s what we want to do on Monday.”

You guys played very well against South Africa in the second half. If you continue to the way you played against South Africa in the second half, no team will be able to defeat you especially if we have our full striking forces.

You’re right, the group is still very open. No need to panic, really. There’s just even a single point between us and SA and they have -1 goal difference. I know we’ll beat them at home. Except my intuition is wrong (and they hardly are), Nigeria will win 90 to 100% of the remaining 7 matches. Maybe 6 wins and a draw. They won’t lose a single one.

Nigerian football fans are so passionately so but are thry genuine or just faking?. The Super Eagles Coach is just 2 weeks on the saddle and all that he needs now is total support from the East, West, North and South.
When foreigners handle the super eagles, qualifying for tournaments becomes a stroll in the park, when indigenes are given same opportunity it becomes a mountain to qualify for ordinary tournament…..That is when you will see football minos become Brazil, Argentina, Spain…..
