Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has said he is not bothered about criticisms from football fans, reports Completesports.com.
Peseiro was criticised by football fans and pundits in the build up to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles failed to record a win in their opening two games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The West Africans also lost 2-0 to Guinea in a friendly few days to the start of AFCON 2023 finals.

“I don’t think about criticism again. If it was 20 years ago, I would have been affected by what the fans are saying about me,” the Portuguese told a press conference.
“But at this moment of my career, I’m 63-years old now, I have taken too much vaccine for good.
”There is always the good and bad media. The key thing is to maintain balance. Coaches will always be criticised. Everyone cannot speak well about me like I’m god or superhuman.”
The Super Eagles will take on the Palancas Negras of Angola in a quarter-final fixture at the ongoing AFCON 2023 in Abidjan on Friday.

This has always been an experienced coach who knows what he is doing – there is no way the coach will go on national TV and cl criticise any of his players . The gutter press and ignorant footballers have undermined everything he has done . But it is clear he has built a formidable side. Now the NFF have a problem on their hand as they tasked him to finish in the semi-final . He has done that , he and the players be aiming for the final . Now it is not the time to release him of his position, but soon reward him with the job of taking Eagles to the next World Cup . He was told and criticised about having 25 players, but you can see he has his first 11 no matter what he’s not going to listen to public opinion .
