Chelle didn’t release lineup? Some fake news outlets are reporting Osimhen was dropped from the starting 11, which will be unfortunate if true.

Algeria have been wretched. Nigeria could have easily been 3:0 up had Osihmen struck, Akor retain his composure or that ball just crossed the line before the goalmouth clearance.

Dominant display by Nigeria. If the Super Eagles continue to hug the duvet of concentration, then they should have this in the bag.

Whatever the outcome of this game, Nigerians should be proud of this team. They’re undoubtedly the better team today with 68% ball possession and hand full of goal threats. The best team for me I this tournament. We just need that extra luck. We’re on top.

Dominant performance by d SE. My only fear is all d missed chances, i hope we don’t regret them ooo. Algeria is just looking for a small chance to score a goal and lock up shop. They’ve been average at best. Regardless of d outcome of today’s match Chelle has shown enough for me to deserve a long term contract abeg. See d way diz SE play, its a joy to behold abeg. Performance is at an elite level abeg. This is d kind of football we’ve been craving for. I hope SE can maintain same momemtum in d 2nd half and dia form don’t dip due to fatigue. These boys are fantastic. I hope we win but to me the outcome is now irrelevant as I’ve seen enough to know Chelle is d man to move our football forward not dat i had any doubt b4. Today just confirmed it. My tots only. Also dis is d best officiating I’ve seen in diz competition bar none

This match is a display of total control by Super Eagles. Only if Osi and Adams had been more prolific, the team should be up by 3 goals.
Second half should be better for the team. We need players that can shoot from outside the box because the algerians seem to be good at defending in box 18.

The SE have been completely dominant, except they have not been able to convert one of the many chances that came their way.

I just hope the SE don’t get tired soon as their intensity in 1st half have been top notch, and have made an Algeria side ranked higher than them on Fifa rankings look very ordinary.

Just take your chance Super Eagles in 2nd half. Goodluck SE

The ref gave Ndidi a useless yellow card as he was leaving the pitch meaning he’d miss the game, and Onyeka got a yellow card from previous game. I think it was smart to remove Onyeka to prevent him from picking up a card and missing the next game.

      Arrogant Ayamase?
Or Arrogant Amala for our resident Doctor of Negativity!

You have been speaking with one side of your mouth all this time. Now, let’s hear from the second part.

I pity anyone who ever took your negativity seriously. Now, based on your comment below, you are about to lose a whole arm. Mercifully, we have a (real) doctor in the house, Dr Banks, who is also a surgeon, who will be only too happy to chop your left arm off. After that, you will have one less arm to type a lot of negativity!

My attachment to Rohr is the reason Chelle was rendered toothless, clueless, and useless by DR Congo and dumped out of the World Cup right….? LMAOooo

Or maybe it was my attachment to Rohr that made Chelle stubbornly stick to his rustic diamond nonsense when even Bartimaeus, son of Timeus, could see that we needed an additional Onyeka in our midfield to give the team steel and balance. He should have persisted with his diamond nonsense at this AFCON na……LMAOoo

Hello, I am not an analyst, and I am not here to seek people’s validation, unlike some people. So I don’t owe anyone, nor am I duty-bound to anyone, to speak with both sides of my mouth.

God gave me both sides of my mouth to speak with them at the same time, not speak with one side negatively and capitulate later with the other side when the egg of disgrace has been pelted all over my face, doc!

And who told you Chelle ditched his diamond formation,? Here you go again speaking with only one side of your mouth to produce an incomplete (negative) analysis.

Chelle played diamond again today sir. And for your information, in primary school social studies, we were taught to analyse strengths and weaknesses, advantages and disadvantages. Even in basic English, there is word and opposite. So, evaluating both sides of any arguments before arriving at a conclusion might be seen as “speaking with both sides of your mouth” but in academia it is called “rational reasoning” sir. One would think a faceless doctor on a faceless forum will be able to face this fact.

Opuro Agbalagba! When Dr Drey eats arrogant apple, it only means one thing: Dr Drey was wrong all along. Don’t come and pull the wool over our eyes here, it will not work.

All the contributors all this platform bar none have seen through the veil of your bullsh*t. You have lost all credibility, you are finished.

Like Sir Oliver Cromwell said in the British Parliament in April 1653, I also say unto you this day, Dr Drey: “You have stayed too long on this platform for you to be of any good to yourself, anyone else and this country. Hahahahaha…….every formation is diamond formation to a pathetic liar.

4-3-3 is diamond formation in the eyes of the one who choses when to tell the truth and when to cloth lies with sweet words.

What chelle has played in majority of this tournament is the exact same 4-3-3 Keshi played in the later stages of 2013 AFCON

A midfield trio of 1 playmaker (Iwobi vs Mikel), 1 anchorman (Ndidi vs Onazi) and 1 water carrier (Onyeka vs Mba), and an attacking trio of 1 free roler (Lookman vs V.Moses), 1 roving support striker (Akor vs Ideye) and 1 battering ram target (Osimhen vs Emenike).

Stop trying to shove lies down people’s throats because you want to make a point……LMAOooo…. everything is not diamond formations.

Evaluating both sides of arguments is a whole different endeavor from just churning out cheap lies and sycophancy.

The only Opuro Agablagba we have seen on this forum for a while now is none else but an analyst isonu like you…..LMAOoo

Imagine trying to goad us into beleiving Ndidi “deflected” a cross unto the path of the congolese striker to equalize during the world cup qualifiers……LMAOooo

I say again….when Dr Drey eats humble pies, it simply means Nigerian football is experiencing bliss…..but when opuro analyst isonu eats humble pie…..like when DR Booted us out of the world cup after shackling the “tactical genius” called chelle for 100 mins of a 120 mins game, then it doom for Nigerian football.

Your thirst for clout has been long unveiled and laid bare for all to see and I am just glad, satsified and fulfiled at how cautious and humbled you have been with your ramblings at this particular AFCON.

I know you’ve waited 4 years for today, since when the Egavoen you hailed to the highest heavens at the 2021 AFCON was humilited and subsequently disgraced by Ghana, leaving your mouth soiled with dust, your face plastered with dung and your tail between your legs…….you prayed and earnestly yearned for a day like this……..LMAOooooo

But Hello, I am the biggest winner tonight after the boys…..I won both on and off the field, so you can continue blabbing and rambling all night long. I hope you at least find some ego-boosting satisfaction from that.

I said all I said, and I have no apologies. Only if I perjured at any point do I owe anyone an Sorry. Gold becomes gold by passing through fire, not through ice…….so if Chelle stopped being obstinate and dumped his fantasy for functionality because some of us refused to drop our principles and be cheap liar……then I am fulfiled.

I also leave you with the words of Alber Einstien, “Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.” At least we know those who have a time for when the truth must be the truth and when lies are better to replace the truth.

The fake Dr has no shame nor scruples to even own up on all his negative predictions and narcissist comments and insult of coach Chelle (calling him a Tuareg, Pretender and Herdsman) and his wards.

He predicted with emphatic hatred that Chelle and his SE will win only 2 matches at Afcon 2025- against Tanzania and Uganda and will be beaten by Tunisia, and will certainly be booted out from the R16 knockout stage. Then, his negativity missive was that Chelle cannot beat any Fifa ranked team below 100 and would be disgraced by any country close to Nigeria’s ranking.

But Chelle humiliated Tunisia, and the Dry cloud pessimists refused to give Chelle his flowers shamelessly lying that for once Chelle has beaten a team above 90th ranking. He – who likes twisting records/statistics deliberately refuse to acknowledge that Chelle had beaten Ghana and Jamaica (both ranked in the 70s) in June 2025 Unity cup in London; and Gabon (ranked 78 by Fifa) in Nov 2025 WC playoff.

He twists and turns- changing the goal post for Chelle each time SE “Tuareg Coach” rub him with more muds. When Chelle walloped Mozambique in the round of 16- remember he predicted Chelle will not go beyond Rd of 16- he pushed the goal further shamelessly, stating until Chelle beats a team ranked above Nigeria.

Then Chelle beats Algeria- ranked 4 places above Nigeria- more emphatically today and I wonder what the Nigeria negativity, dark cloud panderer will say. May be he should submit his right arm for slithering by Dr Banks!

Hahahahah….. Please let them roast o …..LMAOoo. Some of them have waited for four years for a day like this….including those who coat lies with flattery

There’s nothing I’ve said about Chelle before that was a lie…..! So I’m not missing as much as a breath.

The fact that they are all coming out guns blazing because we’ve qualified for the semifinals….yes, semifinals…… of AFCON says a lot.

At this point, I sure am highly justified.

I am super happy at this point that we get to keep our bragging rights against our African brothers, so who whoever thinks he is roasting should give himself a round of applause and continue roasting his own brains and emotions……..LMAOooo.

I am happy I kept some people humble and cautious for the majority of this tournament……LMAOoo

I doubt the veracity of Dr Drey’s academic claims. He must have acquired his degree from one of those one-room mills. You got it right, like the ones in Ghana, but this time around, in the backwaters of a wretched European country.

When I raise simple arguments with him he resorts to beating about the bush.

Which doctor in this whole world knows nothing about Cycle of influence? Did Chelle appoint himself?

I must publicly praise iwobi, cos I have publicly criticized him. My criticism of you Iwobi stem from the fact that I was let down because of my expectations which you weren’t meeting in the past.

I know your days in arsenal and your capabilities hence my initial criticism.
Iwobi ho iwobi if thou art known the potential you carry our midfield shouldn’t be a problem anytime and anyday.

May God bless you iwobi please dont relent iwobi, make us forget Mikel and okocha completely.

Firstly, to God be the glory. We won the match against Algeria convincingly.

I have promised not to comment on the Super Eagles in this tournament because I am still angry with the Eagles for not qualifying for the World Cup. We have to wait for FIFA to sanction the DR Congo before we can participate in the intercontinental tournament and qualify for the World Cup. It is a shame.

I am satisfied a bit about our boys, but not 100 per cent until we win the Afcon, then we make it to the World Cup, I will be more than satisfied.

Super Eagles should do what Super Falcons have been doing to win almost every Wafcon.

Super Falcons would win the tourney and stay until the NFF paid them.

Bravo to Ndidi for convincing the team to continue playing, and if NFF refuses to pay, he will pay them. Again, shame on NFF.

Finally, Dr. Drey has shamed himself. The enemy of progress has finally disgraced himself.

You hate our world-class Eric Chelle, the Indomitable, tested and trusted our reliable gaffer for no tangible reasons, but Chelle keep proving his worth to you, Drey.

You are more pained after Eric Chelle denied Oga Benin’s team a World Cup spot. 4:0 unreplied should tell you that Eric Chelle is better than Oga Rohr. No disrespect to Oga Rohr, but it is so clear that Chelle’s level is far better than Oga Rohr kę.

If you know this, you have peace of mind whenever Nigeria is playing.
Oga Rohr has gone for the betterment of our darling Super Eagles.

As you promised, I am waiting to see the picture of your left hand being cut off. Share the picture with us here on CSN, so that we can rejoice with you. You know I don’t take you seriously, Mr. DR. Drey. I hope this will serve you well. How would you describe such a young man?

Congratulations Nigerians. Congratulations to Eric Chelle and his troops. I am so proud of you all. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

      What a game!
People called the win against Mozambique a statement win. But this win is even more so. This Algeria we just made light work of, in fact allow me to use the words BEAT SILLY, this Algeria is a very strong team! So I am pleasantly surprised at how much we dominated them.
The FEARSOME THREESOME, TERRIBLE TRIO, TRIPOD OF TERROR, THREE MUSKETEERS.
Lookman, Osimhen and Akor are the stuff of nightmares for defences in this tournament. And their unselfishness makes them even more dangerous. Osimhen could have gone for goal himself, but chose to lay it off to Akor for the 2nd goal. Lovely to see!
What a team performance! Osayi was simply flying today. Bruno kept delivering custom crosses from the left, and Architect in chief Iwobi was doing his thing all day. Passes yanfu yanfu!
This wonderful Taureg keeps getting the job done. Chelle, you have done well.
As Ayphilly said, IYANU MA CHELLE. This is real iyanu that we are witnessing. Iyanu live and direct from Morocco.
      A statement win.
      Well and truly deserved!

Hahahaha….I guess my credentials is the reason why DRC shackled your Chelle for 100 minutes of football and booted us out of our 2nd consecutive world cup apperance.

I also think my “fake credentials” is also the reason why the legal department of the NFF is now busier than its technical department……LMAOooo.

What happened to Chelle’s “cycle” of influence all these while when i couldnt defeat any team ranked above 90th in FIFA rankings…..LMAOOooo.

Oh….i guess we are that “Cycle” of infleunce….yes WE, those of us who yelled at Chelle to discard is useless diamond formation for a double-anchor tactic that he is now using to win games successfully.

If it is easy to get a qualification from a one-room mill, why haven’t you gone to get yours. At least put a respect to the fact that I could pull a globally recognized qualification from a one-room mill and justify it with my outputs both academically and professionally.

Chelle’s “cycle” of influence my foot. ……LMAOoo. As if Chelle has even won anything in his career ever…….LMAoooo

      Come on @Dr Drey
You do have your rights to criticize. But I think you should come around now. Let’s enjoy this.
Like most, I have been a critic of Chelle in the past, but it’s quite glaring he’s fully learned and understand his team better hence the reason they have been this dominant.

You can’t deny the improvement of Chelle. It’s that obvious.

      Anyway, congrats.
