Barcelona hero Carles Rexach has disclosed that Paris Saint-Germain have what it takes to dominate European football for a very long time.
He made this known on the backdrop of their impressive display at the Club World Cup, where the Paris club will face Chelsea in the final of the competition tonight.
The Blues face a daunting task against a PSG side that won the Champions League in May and dismantled Real Madrid 4-0 in their semi-final.
PSG won a French league and cup double before claiming the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history with a record-breaking 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the final at the end of May.
In a chat with L’Equipe, Rexach stated that PSG defeated and dominated some of the best teams in the Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga with ease.

“They have a formidable squad, a coach who never speculates and always focuses on attack. Today, you can’t say anything: you just have to bow down.”
“In football, there are trends, and today everyone wants to play like PSG. They’re the most spectacular team, the most attractive,” he said.
“I think they will dominate for a long time. They’ve easily beaten the best in Europe. French clubs once lacked competitiveness compared to Italian, Spanish, and English clubs. Not anymore,” added Rexach.
