Manchester United wing-back Patrick Dorgu has disclosed that new manager Michael Carrick has changed the players’ mentality since his arrival to Old Trafford.
Recall that Carrick replaced Ruben Amorim and kicked off his time as United manager with a stunning 2-0 derby win against Manchester City on Saturday.
Speaking after the game, Dorgu in a chat with the club’s website, stated that Carrick has brought a different mentality to the club.
“We’ve got a new coach and it’s been really good for us. We have had really good workouts with him and everyone is positive.

“You could also see that from the first minute, how we came out to the fight and everyone was ready.
“It hasn’t really changed, but it’s just the intensity and the way he wants us to play. He just wants us to be forward-looking all the time, and you could see that here.
“It’s not about changes, but about the mentality as a group.”
