Former Super Eagles defender Ifeanyi Udeze believes Chelsea had a wonderful game against Paris Saint-Germain and deserves to win the 2025 Club World Cup.
Palmer had a hand in all three goals, scoring the first from Malo Gusto’s cut-back with a superb, low finish and adding the second with a near-identical strike only eight minutes later.
He then played in new signing Joao Pedro, who followed up his two-goal performance against Fluminense with a cool finish over Gianluigi Donnarumma as Paris Saint-Germain, who had Joao Neves sent off for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair late on, were left stunned.

Reacting after the game, Udeze, who was a guest at the SportyTV match broadcast, stated that Chelsea deserved to win the trophy.
“Congratulations to Chelsea. If anyone had told me that Chelsea would defeat PSG, I would have doubted it.
“Chelsea played very well, attacked PSG nicely, and won the game when it mattered most. Like I said earlier, I didn’t expect Chelsea to beat PSG.”
