Kenneth Omeruo has described Cyriel Dessers one of the best Nigerian scorers after his superb strike against Manchester United.
Dessers thought he had salvaged a point for Rangers in Thursday’s Europa League fixture at Old Trafford after Jack Butland punched a set piece into his own net to put United 1-0 ahead.
The Nigerian striker who came on in the 71st minute, drew Rangers level with two minutes left.
He controlled a long pass from his half after giving Harry Maguire a slight nudge before hitting a brilliant low left-foot shot which flew into the net.
Unfortunately, Bruno Fernandes slotted home a cross from Lisandro Martinez to win it for United in the 92nd minute.
Reacting to Dessers’ goal, Omeruo wrote on X:”What a goal by Cyriel Dessers one of the best finishers from naija .”
Apart from his superb goal, Dessers was impressive in his 19 minute cameo, completing one of three passes and won one of two ground duels.
The defeat to United means Rangers are in 13th place on 11 points in the league table.

One of the oldest players in the Super Eagles has confirmed that “Dessers is one of the best finishers from naija”
So, why one of the best strikers from 9ja is not playing for the Super Eagles?
Is he not available, or is the striker not willing to play for 9ja ba?
