Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has confirmed that he will be pulling out from the Qatar Open due to fatigue.
The news came just 10 days after Djokovic lost to world number one Carlos Alcaraz in the Australian Open final.
Djokovic has already signaled several times over the past few years that his calendar would become increasingly selective, prioritizing Grand Slams and tournaments representing Serbia.

The world No. 3 already missed the first round of Davis Cup qualifiers, thinking about protecting his physical condition and avoiding a long trip to South America following the demanding campaign in Melbourne.
He is next scheduled to compete at the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells, where he ties Roger Federer (5) for the most titles.
Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will headline the ATP 500 hard‑court event in Doha, which begins on Monday, as the top two seeds.
