Manchester United manager Michael Carrick maintained a perfect start to his managerial career at Old Trafford as the Red Devils defeated 10 men Tottenham 2-0 in Saturday’s Premier League game.
Carrick has now won four Premier League games against Arsenal, Man City, Fulham, and Spurs.
His audition for the permanent role at Old Trafford continues to go from strength to strength, cementing their position inside the top four.

However, Bryan Mbeumo gave the home side a first-half lead on 38 minutes, but only after Tottenham had been reduced to 10 men following Cristian Romero’s red card.
United came close to doubling their league minutes later, but Casemiro, who was making his 100th Premier League appearance in this match, saw his powerful header superbly tipped over the bar by Vicario.
Despite numerous attempts at goal, United couldn’t find a second goal of the game against Tottenham’s 10 men until the 81st minute, when Fernandes stole in at the back post to shin the ball into the net.
