Thanks for that wonderfully powerful-headed legal goal that was illegally chopped off by the Francophone-dominated CAF leadership of the time in the 1988 Afcon final against Cameroon.
The sands of time will never erase that wonderful moment from the ocean of iconic great Super Eagles memories, despite the worst efforts of the Late Issa Hayatou’s rogue regime.
I will always love you.
I will always love Super Eagles (and Falcons) legends who leave us with timeless memories.
May your soul rest in perfect peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family at such a hard period.
