Former Germany coach Joachim Löw has been linked with the Ghana job ahead of the World Cup.
The Ghana Football Association are in search of a new head coach following the dismissal of Otto Addo this week.
The GFA are keen to appoint a new coach with the World Cup less than three months away.

According to Ghanasoccernet, Low is close to agreeing terms with the Ghanaian FA over a short-term deal to cover the summer’s World Cup.
The German is ready to accept a modest salary of €150,000-a-month to take the post.
Löw led Germany to win the World Cup in 2014. He remained in the German national team until the summer of 2021.
Ghana are in the same World Cup group with England, Croatia, and Panama.

This is the best coach for Ghana.
NFF should loan Chelle to Ghana for the World Cup. Get them to pay his salary and also charge them for the duration of the loan.
What I don’t get exactly is how Ghana can occasionally decide to go all out for an ex-premiership coach like Avram Grant or an ex-World Cup winner like Joachim Low, regardless of the humongous cost (a whopping €150K or $170K as in this case), but the NFF cannot dare it???
We’re always busy scouting for $50K or less coaches. Excuse me, is Ghana richer than Nigeria? I don’t understand the maths or economics.
If it were Nigeria that qualified for the WC and sacked a coach on the eve of the tournament, the NFF would ask Egiavoen to lead the team. No argument or ambition for a better alternative.
Even Waldrum, the US College coach for the Super Falcons, was hired in part time basis cos the NFF will not dare try full tiem salary. Yet, they owed him until they decided to go with a local coach, of course, so they could pay less..
What exactly does the NFF spend all FIFA allocations on? Who audits the cesspit of corruption called NFF? Does FIFA even make an attempt since they frown at government audits?
If a coach is demanding a whopping $150k, then how much is left for them to share? Reason am now.
E no go work. They need a coach they can pay like $30k a month, or even better, a coach like Eguavoen who they don’t have to pay, so all available funds can be shared.
If govt budget for SE coach salary is $100k, and a top coach is asking for more, normally NFF will look for corporate or other sponsors to cover the rest. However, our NFF is anything but normal!
They will be on the lookout for a coach they can pay a lot less, or nothing at all.
If for instance, they hire a coach for $30k monthly, they will likely not even pay that. They will owe that coach to infinity, while gleefully sharing the budgeted salary provided by taxpayers, plus any corporate donations, plus players bonuses. Meanwhile, dem still dey collect their own government salary and estacode allowances.
This is why they at first did not hire Chelle. Just to avoid paying him all that money, so it can be available for sharing among themselves. A crooked, corrupt decision that led directly to failure to qualify for the world cup!
To be honest, NFF job sweet die! Free money is available for stealing. So these hoodlums are going nowhere. Not voluntarily anyway. They need to be forced out!
Many fans have cried themselves hoarse over these mind-boggling economic aberrations. Even Adam Smith, the economic guru, won’t solve this puzzle in a thousand years.
Do we consider the laywoman’s definition of madness? Someone who does the same thing over and over, but expects a different result. That glasshouse must be stinking with people with unhinged minds.
