Aluma praised his side’s determination and discipline, especially in weathering the storm from a resurgent Wikki Tourists in the second half.

“You know, at 3–2, anything can happen. If they made it 3–3, then we’d have been under pressure. So, I thank the boys for holding on strongly and sticking to our defensive discipline.”
Yusuf Strikes Early, Wins MVP Honours For Stellar Display
Similarly, striker Lateef Yusuf, who was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, told Completesports.com that he is dedicating the award to his teammates and the loyal fans of the Seasiders.
Yusuf made an early statement in the final by netting Warri Wolves’ opening goal just seven minutes into the match. His strike rattled the Giant Elephants and disrupted their rhythm, paving the way for two more goals by the 26th minute.

After receiving his MVP trophy, the forward said the honour was a fitting reward for a season-long effort powered by his teammates and inspired by fans.
“I’m happy for this award. It’s a reward for my efforts—of course, made possible by my teammates,” the lanky attacker said.
