Former Fenerbahçe head of scouting Serhat Pekmezci has disclosed that Real Madrid midfielder Arda Güler has been subjected to mobbing by some big players at the club.
Recall that Guler switched from Fenerbahce to the Bernabeu in 2023 with hype as the next Mesut Ozil, but it hasn’t quite worked out.
Despite glimpses of his class, the Turk has rarely played 90 minutes under Carlo Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso, or Alvaro Arbeloa.

Speaking with Sports Digitale, Pekmezci alleged that some players with high egos at the club are harassing the Turkey international.
“Arda Guler is being subjected to mobbing. It’s not that he complained to me, but he knew this would happen. I told him to be patient.
“The harassment came from the players. There is a group there that has not been able to accept Arda; unfortunately, they are players with very high egos.
“That’s why Xabi Alonso left too. I told him: ‘Be patient.’ Arda is very patient, he is very conscious, but even he has started to rebel.”
