The home-based Super Eagles continued their build-up towards the 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN, by beating Ojodu City 2-0 on Friday.
The friendly was played on the training pitch of the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Kwara United’s Afeez Bankole, and Anthony Ijeoma of Abia Warriors got the goals for the Eagles.
It was Eric Chelle’s side second test game since they set up camp in Ikenne for CHAN 2024.

They defeated reigning Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions, Remo Stars 1-0 earlier in the week.
The Eagles are expected to play more friendlies before the start of the competition.
Nigeria will face holders Senegal, Sudan and Congo in Group D.
Three countries; Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda will host the competition from August 2 to August 30.
