Former Rangers star and manager Ally McCoist has revealed that Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho would have scored the golden chance Chelsea striker, Timo Werner missed in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League game against Real Madrid.
Recall that the German international fired straight at Thibaut Courtois from point-blank range with the game goalless early on before Christian Pulisic put Chelsea in front after 14 minutes. Iheanacho also missed a one on one with the goalie against west brom. He also failed to score after controlling the ball beautiful with his left but blasting the ball over the bar with his right when the post was just infront of him. He only saved face with the goal he scored. Thats why his coach said he made a lot of mistakes in the match. So any player can miss a clear goal. Its what you do after you miss a goal that matters.
