PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has addressed comparisons to football legends Diego Maradona and George Best, calling the former a heavy burden and the latter a special compliment.
In a chat with Le Parisien, Kvaratskhelia stated that he’s not on the same level with Maradona and Best.

“In Naples they said I reminded me of George Best. He was a special player and one of the best. He could have perhaps become even greater if his life had not been so complicated.
“I admit that I appreciate such comparisons.
“At the same time, it’s a heavy thing to be compared to Maradona. No one can really be compared to him. But when the fans called me ‘Kvaradona’ I was very happy. It showed how much they appreciated me, and it made me proud.”
