Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has disclosed that he expect a better performance from Lamine Yamal next season.
Yamal recently turned 18 and was given the iconic number 10 shirt, worn by the likes of Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo over the years.
Lewandowski delivered an ominous message to the rest of Europe, declaring that the best is yet to come from the precocious teenage superstar.
“Now he’s no longer a child, he’s an adult because he’s already 18. Lamine can play better than last year. Every year he’ll be better.,” Lewandowski told the club’s website.

Lewandowski also commented on the arrival of Marcus Rashford on-loan from Manchester United.
He said, “He will make the team better. He’s a very talented player; he played against us with Manchester United and was in great form. He can play in different positions and can help us.”
Yamal scored 18 goals and claimed 25 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions last season, while Rashford is aiming to re-establish himself at the highest level after being deemed surplus to requirements by Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim.
