Como president Mirwan Suwarso has debunked reports circulating in the media that the club are willing to sign Inter Miami star Lionel Messi.
The legendary Argentinian forward was linked with a possible switch from Inter Miami to Como after his wife, Antonela, was spotted at their preseason game against Lille.
Fabregas, who is close friends with Messi, 38, and his family, refused to rule out a move, saying, “Never say never.”

Unfortunately for Fabregas, Suwarso doesn’t appear to have the same hopeful ideation that Messi will be turning out for Como next season.
Speaking to La Stampa, he said, “The Messi family were guests of Fabregas and his wife. It would be a dream for him to come here, but why would he leave behind all the money he is earning now? Besides, we have not had any contact with him.”
He later clarified his comments to Sky Italy, adding, “It’s not a dream; it’s impossible.”
