Former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi has reiterated that Liverpool will make life difficult for Chelsea in the absence of Levi Colwill.
He made this known on the backdrop of the team’s poor defending against Manchester United and Brighton in the Premier League.
Both games featured red cards for Sanchez and Trevor Chalobah, respectively.
Speaking on the Obi One Podcast, Mikel stated that Chelsea will struggle to cope against Liverpool attackers at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

“Going forward, we can score goals, we can create chances, we’re brilliant, but Colwill’s absence is telling at the back. There’s no one to cover for him because of his injury.
“We’re so weak in that position, and now, Chalobah is set to miss the game against Liverpool. We’re not in a good place. Strikers win you games, and defenders win you titles.
“We will struggle. Once we go down to ten men, there’s not much you can do again. Eight points from six games. We’ve given away too many red cards. Not good enough.”
