The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) and Barcelona, have sent birthday greetings to Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala who turned 29 on Monday.
The NFF sent their greetings via their X handle:“Happy birthday to @NGSuper_Falcons
forward, 5 time Africa Women’s Player of the Year, @AsisatOshoala. All the best today and always .”
FIFA celebrated Oshoala’s birthday with photos of her three goals at the three World Cups she has participated in with the caption:” Asisat Oshoala scoring at the #FIFAWWC.”
On their part, Barcelona wrote on their women’s X handle:” , Oshoala
@GLS_Spain .”
Oshoala is the reigning African Player of the Year and has won the award five times.

She helped Nigeria win the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in 2014, 2016 and 2018.
Also, she has won the Spanish women’s league and the UEFA women’s Champions League with Barcelona.
The former Liverpool and Arsenal striker is in the running for the 2023 Ballon d’Or award.

The only problem she’s having is a big one.
